Job Description
DC Personnel are currently recruiting for Dispatch Operatives (Picking & Packing) in Leicester
Initial temporary contract with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate
Pay rate: £12.86 per hour
Hours: 09:00 – 17:00 Monday – Friday (37.5 hours per week)
Join a leading manufacturer at their state-of-the-art facility in Leicester. This is a great opportunity to work as part of a friendly, supportive dispatch team with excellent career progression and full training provided.
The role will involve:
Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently
Preparing goods for dispatch, including labelling and wrapping items securely
Working to daily dispatch schedules to meet customer deadlines
Carrying out quality checks to ensure all items are packed correctly
Keeping the dispatch area safe, clean and well-organised
Assisting with stock control and general warehouse duties as required
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience in a dispatch, warehouse or order-picking environment
A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
Good timekeeping and reliability
A commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workspace
