Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our clients team and contribute to the efficient coordination of goods movement and timely deliveries. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring effective communication with drivers and staff while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
This full-time position involves working Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00, totaling 40 hours per week, with an hourly rate of £12.21. Please note that there is no parking available on-site. This role is temp to begin with, with potential for a long term role for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and pack coffins and caskets accurately and efficiently for courier collection.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dispatch area.
Manage packaging inventory and place orders as needed.
Receive, inspect, and process deliveries into the facility.
Assist with preparation of coffins and caskets for production.
Perform stock control activities to ensure inventory accuracy.Skills and Qualifications
Physically capable of moving around the facility and lifting as required.
Competent in the use of power and hand tools.
Demonstrates a polite and professional telephone manner.
Ability to multitask and maintain composure under pressure.
Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Willingness to learn and undergo full training for coffin and casket preparation, as well as stock control.Additional Information
