Hours: Full-time (Saturday working essential, day off during the week, closed Sundays)

The Role
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Dispensing Optician to join our friendly team. The ideal candidate will be confident in advising patients on lenses and frames, with a particular passion for luxury eyewear. You'll combine technical expertise with excellent customer service, ensuring each patient receives a tailored experience.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert advice on lens options, coatings, and frame suitability based on prescriptions and lifestyle needs.
Confidently present and dispense high-end, designer, and bespoke frames.
Deliver a professional and personalised service that reflects our independent values.
Adjust, repair, and fit spectacles to the highest standards.
Support colleagues and contribute to the smooth running of the practice.
Keep up to date with the latest eyewear trends and product knowledge.
Requirements
Fully qualified Dispensing Optician, registered with the GOC.
Strong knowledge of ophthalmic lenses and dispensing practices.
Previous experience in an independent or luxury practice is desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Confidence in recommending and selling premium eyewear.
Flexible and team-oriented, with availability to work every Saturday.
