Litigation Solicitor - Dispute Resolution
Location: Ashford, Kent
Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 (DOE)
The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated Litigation Solicitor to join a respected regional firm within their expanding Dispute Resolution team. This role offers a diverse and stimulating caseload, genuine career progression, and the chance to work alongside experienced colleagues in a supportive and collaborative environment.
This position will suit a solicitor with solid litigation experience who thrives on variety and is looking to develop further within a dynamic and client-focused practice.
The Role
You’ll handle a broad range of litigation matters, providing expert advice and representation to both individual and corporate clients. The work will include:
Commercial and residential landlord & tenant disputes
Building and construction disputes
Professional negligence and contractual disputes
Partnership and shareholder disputes
Debt recovery and insolvency (corporate and personal)
Contentious probate and inheritance claims, including:
Contested wills and inheritance disputes
Inheritance Act claims
Removal of executors and estate disputes
Financial provision for dependants
Property and intestacy issuesYou’ll also play an active part in the continued growth of the department through business development and networking initiatives.
About You
Qualified Solicitor with a strong background in general litigation or dispute resolution
Experience across one or more of the above practice areas
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills
Client-focused, commercially aware, and confident managing your own caseload
ACTAPS membership or contentious probate experience advantageous but not essential
Team player who enjoys collaboration, with a proactive approach to professional developmentWhat’s on Offer
