Location: On site in Nottingham
Contract Duration: Long-term, with potential for extension, initially 6 months
Day Rate: £300 - £350 per day, with weekly pay via umbrella.

As a Disrepair Surveyor, you will be:
Carrying out inspections of disrepair cases, assessing the condition of properties and compiling reports.
Preparing detailed schedules of work and providing cost estimates for repairs and remedial actions.
Liaising with tenants, contractors, and legal teams to resolve disrepair claims.
Managing the preparation and review of repair specifications and assisting with contract documentation.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and housing standards.
What we're looking for:
Proven experience as a Disrepair Surveyor carrying out Section 11 cases within a public sector or housing environment.
Strong knowledge of building construction, defects, and disrepair legislation.
Ability to assess property conditions and prepare clear, detailed reports.
Experience with surveying software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, MS Project, and property management systems).
A proactive, self-motivated approach with excellent time management skills.
Qualifications:
HNC, HND, or degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline preferably
Previous experience working with local authorities or housing associations is highly desirable.
Ideally, you will have experience in dealing with disrepair claims and repairs in residential settings.
