Job Description
Are you an experienced Disrepair Surveyor with a passion for making a real difference in people’s lives? Do you want to work for an organisation where your expertise doesn’t just protect homes, but enhances communities?
We’re looking for a skilled surveyor to join our Asset Investment Team – someone who can bring technical know-how, a sharp eye for detail, and a people-first approach. You’ll be at the heart of tackling disrepair issues, making sure our homes are safe, secure and meet all legal standards, while supporting our residents every step of the way.
What you’ll be doing

Carrying out detailed inspections of homes with alleged disrepair.

Managing disrepair claims from start to finish – from investigating and reporting through to resolution.
*
Working closely with legal teams, contractors, residents, and colleagues to deliver fair, effective outcomes.
*
Advising on preventative measures so homes remain fit for the future.
*
Representing at court when required.
What we’re looking for
You’ll need to be:
✔ Qualified in Building Studies (HND or equivalent)
✔ Experienced in disrepair surveying, ideally in social housing
✔ Confident in writing technical reports and repair specifications
✔ Skilled at balancing stakeholder relationships with a resident-focused approach
✔ A great communicator, with strong problem-solving skills
✔ A driver with a full UK licence
