Deputy Manager - Children's EBD Home | Therapeutic Setting | Kent (Smeeth)- £38,000 - £41,000
I'm currently recruiting for a Deputy Manager to join a therapeutic children's home supporting young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in Smeeth, Kent.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a child-focused, trauma-informed provider that places strong emphasis on therapeutic care, staff development and positive outcomes.
💡 The Role:
* Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
* Lead shifts and provide guidance to the care team
* Promote a therapeutic, trauma-informed approach to care
* Support care planning, risk management and behaviour strategies
* Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards
👤 What they're looking for:
* Experience working within children's residential EBD settings
* Previous Senior or Team Leader experience (or existing Deputy)
* Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and behaviour management
* Level 3 in Residential Childcare (Level 5 desirable or working towards)
* Confident, resilient and passionate about improving outcomes for young people
