Document Controller – Blyth
PRG are recruiting on behalf of our client, a busy piling contractor delivering a short-term project near Blyth. We are looking for a local candidate living within 25 miles of Blyth to join the team as a Document Controller and manage project documentation on-site.
About the Role
This hands-on role will see you supporting the piling project team by keeping all project documentation accurate, organised, and easy to access. You’ll assist with registering, distributing, and filing documents, ensuring everything meets client and project requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in construction document control on a live project.
Key Responsibilities

Register, file, and distribute project documents
*
Support the team in tracking deliverables and deadlines
*
Maintain document control systems according to client standards
*
Ensure project records are accurate and up-to-date
*
Assist with archiving and retrieval of documents
*
Provide administrative support to the project team as needed
Skills and Experience
*
Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail
*
Proficient in Microsoft Office (SharePoint experience a plus)
*
Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
*
Able to prioritise tasks and work under tight deadlines
*
Motivated to work in a fast-paced construction environment
Desirable
*
Previous experience in construction document control or administration
*
Familiarity with document management systems.
