Document Controller – Fixed Term Contract
Location: Macclesfield, North West England
Salary: £52,000 per annum
Contract: Fixed Term – Hybrid (3 days on-site after probation)
Are you an experienced Document Controller looking for your next opportunity? We’re seeking a highly organised professional to join a busy project team in Macclesfield. This is a fixed-term role offering excellent benefits, hybrid working, and the chance to contribute to key infrastructure projects.
The Role:
* Manage and control documents using systems such as 4Project or SharePoint
* Ensure compliance with ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards
* Carry out quality checks, track vendor files, and support smooth project delivery
* Work closely with multi-discipline teams to meet project and quality requirements
* Support the preparation of O&M manuals and other project documentation
About You:
* Strong background in UK construction projects
* Skilled in document control systems (4Project, SharePoint)
* Good understanding of design workflows and project documentation
* Excellent organisational, multitasking, and time management skills
* Collaborative approach with strong attention to detail
* Familiarity with O&M manual creation (desirable)
