Are you an experienced Document Controller?    Do you have experience of 4Projects or SharePoint?  Document Controller Location: Macclesfield (Client Site – Pharmaceutical Sector) Clearance: HORUS Security Check Required Contract Type: Contract – 6 months+ Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (flexi-time available) Rate: £35.00 per hour (Umbrella) + Hybrid - 3 days from office and 2 days from home.  Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our client’s project delivery team on-site in Macclesfield, working within the pharmaceutical sector. In this role, you will manage and maintain project documentation using systems such as 4Projects or SharePoint, ensuring compliance with ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards. Your work will be critical in supporting the smooth delivery of high-value pharmaceutical projects — on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Maintain and manage all incoming and outgoing project documentation using electronic document management systems (EDMS) such as 4Projects or SharePoint. Carry out quality checks on documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with ISO standards. Track, log, and monitor vendor and subcontractor documents throughout the project lifecycle. Support the preparation of O&M manuals and other project handover documentation. Ensure all design workflows and documentation processes are followed effectively. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to maintain structured, compliant, and accessible records. Provide reporting and updates on document status to support project progress and governance. About You Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines. Proven experience in document control within UK construction or pharmaceutical projects. Confident in the use of EDMS platforms such as 4Projects or SharePoint. Good understanding of design workflows and associated documentation. Experience preparing O&M manuals (desirable). Solid knowledge of administrative processes and data handling. Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.
