Are you a Document Controller looking to work on Rail based projects? Ready to play a mission-critical role on major rail construction projects? We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to join one of our clients teams in Birmingham. This is an exceptional opportunity to work for an Engineering Company! Offering: Flexible pay Using systems: ProjectWise AssetWise Aconex Clearbox Cemar Sharepoint Asite What You'll Do: As a Document Controller, you will be the guardian of project information, ensuring every document is meticulously managed and fully compliant. Your duties will be wide-ranging and include: Comprehensive Document Support: Providing full document control for specific project packages within our portfolio, from start to finish. Technical & System Mastery: Managing complex technical project-related correspondence and providing essential mentoring and training to project teams on document control processes. Non-Standard Documents: Handling the unique challenges of non-standard and complex documents, ensuring they meet all regulatory requirements. Quality Control: Taking an active role in quality control, meticulously reviewing all documents and rejecting submissions that do not meet our stringent compliance and procedural standards. System Management: Working with a suite of industry-leading electronic document management systems (EDMS) including Aconex, ProjectWise, AssetWise, Clearbox, Cemar, SharePoint, and Asite. Data Integrity: Ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our electronic systems and maintaining meticulous trackers and databases. What You'll Need: We're looking for a proactive professional with a strong background in document control and a passion for data integrity. Proven experience as a Document Controller, ideally on large-scale civil engineering or rail projects. Extensive experience with the EDMS platforms listed above is essential. A meticulous approach and a keen eye for detail. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide effective training and guidance.
