Dog Grooming and Animal Care Teacher
Salary: £26,000.00 - £27,000.00 p.a (dependent on experience)
Employment Type: Full time (Monday - Friday)
Are you an experienced dog groomer or animal care specialist and looking for your next step in education, or to start a career in teaching?
If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
An OFSTED rated Good FE College are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to lecture within dog grooming and animal care, teaching predomiantely for level 2 classes. Offering access to state-of-the-art facilities, generous holiday, and a supportive environment for both students and staff.

Responsibilities:
To deliver dog grooming and animal care up to a level 2 standard.
Assess student work, provide constructive and timely feedback to motivate and inspire.
Create SMART targets, record and monitor progress against them. Implement positive
interventions where needed.
Ensuring high quality of provision, in response to learners' needs and in line with Professional Teaching Standards.
Requirements:
A minimum of a level 3 in dog grooming or animal care.
A teaching qualification is advantageous but not essential.
Experience of teaching or 2+ years experience within the industry
