Domestic Abuse Outreach Worker – Adults (Female Only)
Location: Hampshire

About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Adult Outreach Worker to support women affected by domestic abuse in the community and within refuge accommodation. You will provide safety planning, emotional and practical support, and help individuals regain stability, confidence and independence.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver one-to-one support, safety advice and practical assistance to adults experiencing domestic abuse.
* Provide guidance on healthy relationships, wellbeing, housing options, finances and legal processes.
* Assist women entering refuge and support them with their emotional and practical needs.
* Develop personalised support plans and advocate for clients with agencies such as housing, police, health and social care.
* Facilitate group sessions and workshops for women in refuge and the community.
* Maintain accurate case notes, reports and monitoring data.
* Work in partnership with local organisations to improve support pathways.
* Take part in the out-of-hours on-call rota to respond to emergencies and referrals.
About You
Essential:
* Experience supporting vulnerable adults in crisis or under stress.
* Strong understanding of domestic abuse and safeguarding.
* Ability to manage a caseload, work independently and use initiative.
* Strong communication, listening and advocacy skills.
* Confidence working with diverse communities and upholding confidentiality.
* Full driving licence, access to a car and business insurance.
* Computer literacy and ability to work at NVQ Level 3 standard.
Desirable:
* Experience running support groups or workshops.
* Knowledge of housing, benefits and legal processes relevant to domestic abuse.
* Experience of multi-agency working.
