Domestic Assistant – Residential Care Home
Location: HU10 Contract: Part-Time or Full-Time Pay: £12.21 per hour
We’re looking for a dedicated and caring Domestic Assistant to join the team at a well-established 50-bed residential care home in HU10. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a warm, supportive environment where your work directly contributes to the wellbeing and comfort of the residents.
About the Role:
As a Domestic Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the home. From communal areas to residents’ rooms, your attention to detail will help create a safe, hygienic, and welcoming space for everyone. You’ll report to the Housekeeper and work closely with a friendly, experienced team who are passionate about delivering excellent care.
Responsibilities:

Carry out daily cleaning duties across the home
*
Ensure infection control procedures are followed at all times
*
Support the wider care team by maintaining a tidy and organised environment
*
Respect residents’ privacy and dignity while working in their living spaces
*
Assist with laundry and other domestic tasks as required

Previous cleaning experience is an advantage, but not essential – full training will be provided
