About the Role
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established domestic electrical contractor in the North West who is seeking an experienced Domestic Electrician to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong domestic background to step into a stable, long-term role with excellent earning potential.
Key Responsibilities
*
Carry out EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Reports) to high standards
*
Complete remedial works and upgrades in line with report findings
*
Conduct general maintenance and electrical installations in domestic settings
*
Perform accurate coding and fault diagnosis in compliance with regulations
*
Ensure all work meets the current IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition)
*
Work within council or social housing environments, ensuring tenant satisfaction
*
Maintain strong health & safety standards and professional conduct on site
*
Accurately complete documentation and reports for each job
Requirements
*
Proven experience in a domestic-only electrical background (essential)
*
2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (essential)
*
Extensive experience with EICR, remedial works, and condition reports
*
Confident understanding of electrical coding and regulations
*
Previous work within council or social housing environments (preferred)
*
Valid 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
*
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
*
Full UK driving licence
