Our client is seeking a domestic electrician to cover the Guildford and Aldershot areas on a permanent basis. They deliver high quality services to clients in the MOD, social housing and local authority sector and are are seeking a domestic maintenance electrician to join their quick growing and friendly team.
Working hours Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm with 1 hour lunch.
£42-44k per annum. May be able to negotiate after a short time served.
Van and Fuel card included. 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
Will need to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
The role: Electrician
Remedial works in domestic properties mainly in and around the Guildford area on a reactive maintenance programme.
This will be carrying out repairs and maintenance while offering a high standard of customer service.
Main duties include EICR checks, Testing works and Fans.
Role requirements -
In order to be considered for the role you must have proven experience as a fully qualified domestic electrician.
- Qualified to Level 3 City and Guilds and AM2 (or equivalent)
- 18th edition
- 2391 test and inspection qualification (or equivalent) preferred.
- Preferably have experience of working in social housing or tenanted properties.
- Full driving license (no more than 6 points)
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for electrical work.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
