Job Description

Domestic Violence Resettlement Worker (Female) Location:The post will be based at EACH Ealing with travel to sites across London as required Salary: Salary scale £27,300 - £29,528 per annum (inclusive of Outer London Weighting) for FTE. Hours: 37.5 hours per week Duration: This post is funded till 31st March 2026 with the possibility of extension and is subject to performance and continuous funding required. EACH is a growing charity providing specialist services to individuals and families affected by mental health, domestic violence and alcohol and substance misuse issues. Our success is through a diverse staff and volunteer team, who are passionate and committed to meeting the needs of our local communities. We are looking for a specialist CASA female worker to provide a high- quality and personalised case work and support to female victims of domestic abuse. As our Domestic Violence Resettlement Worker, your role will include: • Responding to referrals and undertake risk assessment, safety and support planning for domestic Violence clients • Providing short term support, including advocacy, emotional support and onward referrals to clients. • Undertaking inter-agency working to support the victims and promote awareness of their needs, providing information and attending relevant meetings, e.g. MARAC • Liaison and collaboration with referral agencies/professionals • Assessing and undertaking safety planning utilising the CAADA-DASH framework • Carrying out crisis intervention when necessary such as assisting with obtaining emergency accommodation/refuge or obtaining Civil Protection Orders through a solicitor. • Supporting clients through the Criminal Justice System where required. You will need: • Experience of supporting women from diverse backgrounds on domestic abuse • Ability to develop and implement safety and support plans • Ability to keep accurate records and provide reporting • An understanding of needs of BAME women and be able to engage them • Ability to hold a complex and varying case-load effectively and meet targets • Ability to speak in a relevant community language (e.g. Punjabi, Urdu, Polish, Somali, Hindi, Farsi) is desirable.
