Are you a visionary Drama Teacher eager to ignite theatrical passion and develop confidence in young men? We are partnering with an Outstanding boys' school in Camden that is seeking a fantastic permanent, full-time Drama Teacher to join their dynamic Performing Arts department this September. This is an exciting opportunity to nurture students' creativity, collaborative skills, and stage presence across Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially Key Stage 5.
What you'll be doing:
* You'll be designing and delivering engaging Drama lessons, exploring various theatrical forms, acting techniques, and script analysis, tailored for boys.
* It's about directing compelling student productions, encouraging improvisation, and developing vocal and physical expression.
* You'll create an inclusive and energetic environment where students feel empowered to take creative risks and refine their theatrical talents.
What we're looking for:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Drama.
* Experience teaching engaging and effective Drama lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4, ideally within a boys' educational context, is highly desirable.
* Strong directorial skills and a broad knowledge of theatrical history and contemporary practice.
* Excellent communication skills, strong classroom management, and a genuine passion for the performing arts.
