Job Title: Drama Teacher Location: Dinnington, S25 Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time Are you a creative and passionate Drama Teacher ready to bring the stage to life for school students? GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic Drama Teacher to join a supportive school in Dinnington. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on encouraging expression, building confidence, and inspiring a love for the performing arts. Role Overview: As a Drama Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering dynamic and engaging lessons across Key Stages. You will help students explore a range of performance styles and develop their skills in acting, stagecraft, and collaboration. Responsibilities as a Drama Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging drama lessons that spark creativity and build confidence. Support students in developing acting, speaking, and performance skills. Prepare pupils for practical assessments, school productions, and GCSE performances. Encourage teamwork, expression, and participation in creative activities. Maintain a well-managed, inclusive, and enthusiastic classroom environment. Requirements for the Drama Teacher role: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. A degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related subject. Experience teaching Drama at school level is desirable. Strong classroom management and communication skills. A passion for the arts and working with young people. Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
