Job Duties:
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Drama lessons for secondary school students
Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback
Create and maintain a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Organise and participate in extracurricular drama activities
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Drama curriculum
Required Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Degree in Drama or related field
Experience teaching Drama at secondary school level
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
Proven experience in delivering high-quality Drama education
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong classroom management abilities
Up-to-date knowledge of Drama curriculum and teaching techniques
Ability to inspire and motivate students
Preferred Qualifications:
Postgraduate qualification in Education or Drama
Experience working with diverse student populations
Participation in Drama-related professional development courses
Working Conditions:
Contract role covering a maternity leave period
Full-Time hours, Monday to Friday
