Job Description
As part of our Engineering division, you'll play a key role in supporting projects from initial concept through to delivery. You'll be responsible for producing high-quality technical designs and drawings, coordinating with sub-suppliers, and contributing to innovative, real-world solutions for offshore structures.
This is more than just a desk-based role. Once fully trained, you'll also have opportunities to visit onshore and offshore sites, including wind turbines and oil and gas platforms, gaining hands-on experience in a truly varied and rewarding role.
What you'll be doing:
Creating detailed technical drawings and models using SolidWorks, AutoCAD or Draftsight
Supporting proposal development by gathering accurate costings and timelines from sub-suppliers
Assisting project managers with coordination, logistics, documentation and feasibility studies
Working with field data and site observations to help develop design solutions
Contributing to onshore and offshore inspections, feasibility studies and construction supervision (after appropriate training)
What we're looking for:
A degree (or equivalent) in engineering
Strong knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCAD or Draftsight
A proactive, organised and adaptable approach to your work
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Willingness to travel occasionally to sites across the UK and offshore locations
Experience in offshore renewables or oil and gas is desirable but not essential
