Job Description

Draughtsperson required. £35,000 - £42,000 per annum, premium overtime, and an early finish every Friday are just a few of the benefits available with this long-established metalwork manufacturer.

Due to continued growth, this well-established business is looking to recruit a Draughtsperson to join its design and engineering team. This is a great opportunity to work on bespoke, one-off metalwork projects within a friendly and supportive environment.

The Draughtsperson role will involve:
 * Producing detailed 2D drawings using AutoCAD for bespoke metalwork and fabrication projects
 * Interpreting architectural and engineering drawings to create accurate workshop drawings
 * Preparing fabrication and manufacturing drawings for production use
 * Liaising with workshop and production teams to ensure designs are workable and efficient
 * Revising and updating drawings based on project requirements and feedback
 * Supporting continuous improvement of design processes and documentation

In return, the Draughtsperson will receive:
 * £35,000 - £42,000 per annum
 * Overtime paid at premium rates
 * Early finish every Friday

Draughtsperson Requirements:
 * Strong experience using AutoCAD 2D
 * Ability to read and interpret engineering or architectural drawings
 * Previous experience in fabrication, metalwork, or manufacturing environment
 * Good attention to detail and strong communication skills
 * Knowledge of Tekla would be an advantage

Working Hours:
 * Monday to Thursday - 7:30am to 4:00pm
 * Friday - 7:30am to 2:50pm

The role is commutable from Halifax, Elland, Brighouse, Huddersfield, Sowerby Bridge, Bradford, Dewsbury, Cleckheaton, and surrounding areas.
