Job Description
HGV Class 1 Driver – Bristol
Temp to Perm | Full-Time | Weekly Pay | Immediate Start
A&G Resourcing Ltd is currently recruiting experienced and professional HGV Class 1 Drivers for our client based in Avonmouth Docks. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for full-time work with the potential for a permanent role in a well-established company.
We have multiple roles available, including (both roles are FULL TIME positions):

Non-ADR Tanker Drivers
*
Relief Drivers -This role suits a versatile HGV driver who is confident driving different vehicle types across the fleet
Position Details:
*
Working Days: Monday to Friday (Saturday overtime available)
*
Start Time: 05:00 AM
*
Average Shift Length: 10 hours
*
Guaranteed Hours: 48 per week
*
Contract: Temp-to-Perm
Pay Rates:
While Temporary:
*
£16.50/hour + holiday pay
*
£19.50/hour for overtime
Once Permanent:
*
Basic salary of £38,765 per year
*
Time and a half for overtime and Saturdays
*
Double time on Sundays and Bank Holidays
Key Responsibilities:
*
Delivering construction materials such as dry silo mortars, renders, screeds, and kiln-dried sand
*
1–3 drops per shift
*
Ensuring safe and compliant transport at all times
*
Completing delivery documentation accurately
Requirements:
*
Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence
*
Minimum 1 year of HGV Class 1 driving experience (insurance requirement)
*
Valid CPC and Tacho Card
*
Maximum of 6 penalty points – no major endorsements
*
Experience with tankers is a bonus, but non-ADR training can be provided
Ideal Candidate:

Reliable and safety-conscious
*
Strong understanding of WTD and driver hours
*
Flexible and willing to adapt to various routes or vehicle types
*
Good communicator and team player
