Job Title: Minibus Driver
Contract Type: 12-week Temp-to-Perm
Hourly Rate: £12.21 per hour + holiday pay
Hours: Minimum 25 hours per week (typically 32–38 hours)
Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable, compassionate, and safety-conscious Minibus Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting elderly and vulnerable individuals for a variety of purposes including day trips, hospital appointments, and casual social outings. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in supporting members of the community.
Key Responsibilities:

Safely transport passengers to and from designated locations according to the daily schedule.

Provide assistance to passengers when boarding and disembarking the vehicle, ensuring comfort and safety at all times.

Carry out routine vehicle checks and report any issues or defects promptly.
*
Maintain a clean, tidy, and roadworthy vehicle.
*
Complete journey logs, mileage records, and any required paperwork accurately.
*
Communicate professionally and courteously with passengers, carers, and other staff.
*
Adapt to flexible start and finish times depending on the day’s itinerary.
Requirements:

Full UK driving licence with D1 entitlement (essential).
*
Previous experience driving minibuses or similar vehicles (preferred).
*
An understanding of and sensitivity to the needs of elderly and vulnerable individuals.
*
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
*
Ability to work independently and follow detailed schedules.
*
A calm, patient, and helpful manner.
Additional Information:

This is a 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity.

Weekly hours will vary but are typically between 32 and 38 hours.

You will be guaranteed a minimum of 25 hours per week.

Start and finish times are flexible depending on passenger needs.
