Job Description
Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for several Drivers to join Barnsley Council's Grounds Maintenance and Waste Services Departments. These are temporary contracts initially for 3 months with a view to extend, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:

Drive council vehicles (including those with trailers or equipment) to support operational duties
*
Undertake grounds maintenance, site security, and manual handling tasks in all weather conditions
*
Conduct vehicle safety checks, report faults, and carry out basic maintenance
*
Lock and unlock council sites and premises as required
*
Grass cutting tasks
*
Street Cleaning
Requirements:
*
Full UK driving licence (Category B, B+E, C1 or C1+E)
*
Experience working in grounds maintenance or similar operational environment
*
Strong teamwork and communication skills
*
A positive, proactive attitude with good attention to health and safety practices
