Driver / Furniture Installer - High-End Interiors
📍 Location: Dagenham
💷 Salary: £30,000 + Benefits | Mon-Fri | Overtime Available
Are you a skilled and reliable driver with a passion for quality workmanship? Our client, a leader in high-end furniture and interiors, is seeking a Driver / Furniture Installer to join their growing team.
You'll be the face of the company when delivering and installing premium furniture into luxury spaces - so a professional, proactive approach and keen attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Warehouse Manager in planning daily delivery routes.
Deliver and install high-end furniture with precision and care.
Maintain accurate delivery notes and job documentation.
Use problem-solving skills during on-site installations.
Communicate effectively with clients and head office on any issues.
Carry out daily/weekly vehicle checks, refuel, and maintain cleanliness.
Adhere to all health and safety procedures and company policies.
Assist with additional tasks as reasonably directed by your line manager.What We're Looking For
Full UK Driving Licence (Category B) - Clean
3+ years' experience in a relevant trade - desirable
Strong team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
Highly trustworthy, self-motivated, and able to manage your own workload
Basic understanding of risk assessments
Desirable (but training can be provided):
Forklift Truck licence
IOSH Managing Safely qualificationWhat's In It for You?
Salary: £30,000 per year
(Reviewed after successful completion of probation)
Hours: 07:30-17:00, Monday to Friday (1-hour lunch break)
Overtime: 1.5x pay on Saturdays | 2x pay on Sundays
Holiday: 23 days + Bank Holidays (rising to 25 days after 5 years)
Pension Scheme: Eligible after 3 months
