Job Description
Driver / Despatcher – Denham
Salary: £30,000–£35,000
We’re seeking an experienced Driver / Despatcher to join a busy transport team at a Denham-based site. In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering and collecting goods across the UK, ensuring accurate paperwork and safe handling at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Load and unload goods safely, checking quantities and documentation.
Consolidate deliveries and collections within the warehouse.
Transport goods to customers, suppliers, and other company sites across the UK.
Maintain warehouse organisation, cleanliness, and functionality.
Carry out basic vehicle maintenance and safety checks (e.g., topping up fluids, replacing bulbs).
Requirements:
Aged 23 or over for insurance purposes.
Clean Class 2 / Category C driver’s license with experience driving, loading, and unloading.
ADR certification for high consequence goods (Classes 1–9).
Counterbalance forklift experience.
Experience in logistics or warehouse operations; manufacturing experience desirable.
Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office).
Ability to lift, carry, and handle boxes safely.
