We are recruiting for a Cleaner / Driver to join a leading organisation within the aviation and engineering sector based at a prestigious site near Oxford. This is a hands-on position within a busy operational environment, supporting both the engineering and facilities teams to maintain high standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency.
You will be responsible for ensuring hangar and workshop areas remain clean, safe, and free from debris, as well as completing occasional deliveries and collections to various UK sites using company vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
Support delivery and collection of engineering equipment, tools, and stock items within the UK
Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently
Assist with general site tidiness, including apron areas and external entrances
Maintain cleanliness across hangar areas, including floors, washrooms, and changing rooms
Remove non-toxic waste and debris to ensure a safe working environment (preventing FOD incidents)
Use floor-cleaning and polishing equipment (training provided)
Skills and Experience Required:
Full, clean UK driving licence (Class 2 preferred)
Previous experience in cleaning, facilities, or a similar operational support role
Basic understanding of workplace safety and security procedures
Confident using cleaning machinery (training available)
Good communication skills and ability to work independently
Qualifications and Additional Requirements:
Manual handling training (certificate desirable)
Must be eligible for DBS and Security Clearance (SC)
