Job Description
We are working with an award-winning Education provider in the area of Bridgwater, Somerset. They are looking for two Driver’s to add to their team.
The role is term time only over 39 or 41 weeks per year.
Salary: £14.10 - £15.10 per hour
Hours: 25 hours per week Term Time only – 41 or 39 weeks per year
Location : Bridgwater, Somerset
We are looking to recruit two drivers who can ensure that the children and picked up and dropped him safely and securely from school.
The hours for the roles are as follows:
Monday to Friday – 7.00am – 9.30am and 3.00pm to 5.30pm – 39 weeks Term time only
Monday to Friday – 1pm to 6pm – 41 weeks Term Time only
Main Duties
* Safety transport children to and from school following established routes and schedules
* Make sure all children are safety seated and supervised at all times
* Reporting any concerns, issues or changes to the school and parents where appropriate
* Conduct daily safety checks of the vehicles and ensure cleanliness of the vehicles
* Report and defects, damage or incidents to the manager immediately
* Assist in any maintenance or minor repairs as required
* Review and record transport paperwork
* Maintain accurate records for mileage, fuel, and maintenance activity
Person Spec
* Hold a Full UK manual driving license
* Excellent knowledge of road safety standards
* Be honest, reliable and self-motivated
