DRIVER - MUST HAVE TOWABLE VAN AND PICKUP EXPERIENCE - £15 PER HOUR - FLEXIBLE HOURS TO BE AGEED START AS SOON AS
Job Overview
We are looking for a responsible and professional Towable Van and Pickup Driver to join our team. This role involves the delivery, collection, and set-up of towable units such as welfare trailers, portable toilets, and other equipment, using a company pickup vehicle and van. The candidate will have towing experience, good communication skills, and a commitment to safe and efficient work practices.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver and collect towable units using a pickup truck, Van and trailer.
Carry out basic set-up and positioning of units on-site.
Ensure all loads are secured safely and comply with towing regulations.
Complete vehicle and trailer safety checks before and after each journey.
Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork.
Communicate effectively with clients on-site, providing a high level of customer service.
Keep the vehicle clean, tidy, and in good working order.
Report any issues or damages promptly to the operations team.
Requirements
Full UK driving licence with B+E entitlement (or grandfather rights if applicable).
Experience in towing trailers or similar equipment.
Good understanding of towing laws and road safety.
Ability to carry out basic on-site tasks such as levelling, securing units, etc.
Punctual, reliable, and professional in attitude.
Good physical fitness – the role can involve manual handling.
Flexibility with start/finish times when required.
Monday and Friday and Weekend availability is essential
Desirable
Experience with welfare units, portable toilets, or event trailer delivery.
Basic mechanical knowledge or ability to troubleshoot minor issues on site.
Driver CPC (not essential, but a plus depending on vehicle type used).
