Drivers Mate (Removals)
Location: Sheffield
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Pay: £13.50 per hour DOE (Approx. £28,000 per annum)
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Drivers Mate to join a professional removals team in Sheffield. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, delivering excellent customer service, and working as part of a supportive team.

Duties
Loading and unloading vehicles and storage containers.
Handling customers' belongings with care and professionalism.
Assisting with home and commercial removals.
Occasionally driving a company van when required.
Following company procedures and Health & Safety guidelines.
Delivering a high standard of customer service at all times.Requirements
Full UK driving licence (essential), as you may occasionally be required to drive a company van.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
Positive attitude with a strong team-player mentality.
Previous removals or logistics experience is desirable but not essential.Hours & Benefits
40 hours per week, typically 07:30–16:30 (1-hour lunch).
5 days out of 7, Monday to Sunday rota.
Rotas generally provided in advance.
Weekend working on a rotational basis.
Overtime paid after 40 hours.
25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays (33 days total).
Full training provided.
