Job Description
FTS Recruitment are on the search for Drivers Mates who are looking to join a professional, busy team as a valued member. This is an excellent opportunity to work as a Drivers Mate for a National Delivery company based in Basingstoke. This is a full time position with a great pay of £13.62 per hour and overtime rate of £20.43 over 48 hours per hour.

Job Details:
* Hourly rate : £13.62 for the first 48 hours- overtime £20.43 per hour.
* Minimum pay : 8 hours per shift
* Start time : 05:00-07:00 AM
* Shift duration : 10 - 12 hours
* Shift pattern: 4 on 2 off, 4 on 2 off, 5 on 2 off, rolling rota which includes weekends as part of the compulsory rota,
* Minimum of 6 months Drivers Mate experience required
** Inductions on Thursday 31st July**
Job Description:
* Will be working as a home delivery team, going out as part of a 2 man crew
* Delivering beds, sofa, wardrobes which will involve installations such as fitting feet, putting doors on etc.
* MUST be ok with handball and heavy lifting as the role is very physical and the items are heavy
* Number of drops: Generally up to 30 drops per day - within a radius of Basingstoke.
* MUST have good customer service skills and be happy to call customers with updates on deliveries.
* Must be able to read and write to intermediate level and be comfortable using technology.
* Training: Induction and company training provided
Requirements
* You must be able to work weekends as part of the set rota.
* Must live local to RG24 / have your own transport to get to site for early starts.
* Must be ok with a lot of handball and heavy lifting.
* Must have a minimum of 6 months Drivers Mate experienceBefore You Apply
