Job Description
Rapier Employment are on the lookout for Drivers Mates to join our well-established client based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. This is potentially temp to perm for the right candidates.
The right candidate must hold a Full UK Licence. This role also involves working away Monday to Friday around the UK.
Role: Drivers mate/Crew member
Salary: £13.00 per hour. Overtime paid x1.5
Days: Monday to Friday with occasional weekends if/when required
Expected hours: 45 hours per week
Night out allowance: £15 per night
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
Work with drivers and plant operatives on installation and recovery throughout the UK
Work as a two/three person crew which includes nights away in accommodation
Have a Full UK licence. You will be following the main truck in a vehicle provided by site
Follow exact directions and be able to assist with installing/removing products
Making sure products are ready for transport
Work a flexible schedule (days, nights, potential weekends)
Work away from home Monday to Friday
Full training will be provided, with development opportunities, and ability to progress within the company.
Required:
Full UK driving licence
No more than 3 points on licence
Flexible working
Working away from home
Desired/Preferred:
CSCS card desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
