About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Dry Riser Engineer to join our growing fire safety team. You’ll be servicing, maintenance, testing, and minor remedial repair of dry riser systems across residential and commercial buildings throughout the UK.
In this hands-on role, you'll help ensure compliance with BS 9990:2015 by performing annual testing and inspections, identifying defects, and maintaining system readiness. While installation experience is valuable, this role centres on ensuring operational performance, documentation, and regulatory compliance of existing systems.

What You'll Do
* Conduct annual servicing, flow/pressure testing, and visual inspections in line with BS 9990:2015
* Maintain and complete digital service reports and compliance records
* Identify and report non-compliant systems or defective components
* Carry out minor remedial works such as valve replacement, PRV adjustments, and leakage repairs and more.
* Attend emergency callouts for dry riser failures or suspected faults
* Recommend further remedial actions following failed testing
* Advise clients on upgrade or compliance options
* Liaise with compliance managers and office staff for accurate scheduling and reporting
* Support installation or refurbishment projects when required (occasional, not primary focus)
* Assist with pressure testing and certification of new systems
What We're Looking For
* Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence
* Previous experience servicing and remedial works of dry riser systems is essential
* Familiarity with flow and pressure test equipment
* Level 3 Fire Safety Engineering qualification is desirable
* Knowledge of BS 9990:2015
* Experience with pressure testing equipment and procedures
* Excellent problem-solving abilities
* Attention to detail and accurate documentation
* Good communication skills with clients and colleagues
