A thriving and supportive secondary school in Bournemouth is recruiting a Design and Technology ECT specialising in Product Design to join their exceptional DT department for a September 2025 start.
DT (Product Design) ECT required from September 2025
Modern workshops, CAD/CAM facilities, and 3D printing labs
High-achieving and well-led Design & Technology department
The Role
You will teach DT (with a focus on Product Design) across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop technical skills in design, innovation, and practical manufacturing. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to STEM events, DT competitions, and engineering clubs.
Candidate Requirements

Product Design or Engineering degree with QTS by July 2025

A keen interest in sustainable design, CAD/CAM, and innovation

Ability to engage all learners through creative practical lessons

Desire to be involved in department development and enrichment
