Academics are a local teacher recruitment agency and we are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Cannock to recruit a DT Teacher on a temporary basis.
Role Details:
Start date: June 2026
Duration: Until July 2026
Location: Cannock
Key Stages: KS3 and KS4
Daily rate: £160 - £230 (depending on experience)The school is an 11-18 mixed comprehensive with a good reputation in the Cannock area. Applications are welcome from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers.
Person Specification:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge in Art and DT
Experience as a DT Teacher across KS3 and KS4 and a range of abilities
Excellent classroom management and teaching practice
Ability to engage and inspire students
Professional, reliable, and committed to safeguarding
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
