Job Description

Location: Beaconsfield Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: MPS/UPS An innovative and forward-thinking secondary school in Beaconsfield is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher to start in September. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a department with a strong focus on hands-on learning, design thinking, and student creativity. In this role, you will: * Deliver high-quality lessons in Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4. * Introduce students to both traditional techniques and modern technologies. * Promote safe and confident use of workshop tools and machines. * Support students through NEA coursework and project-based assessments. * Encourage innovation, sustainability, and design ethics. * Lead or support after-school DT and engineering clubs. The ideal candidate will have: * QTS and a strong DT background, ideally with experience in Product Design or Engineering. * Ability to teach and assess a range of DT disciplines confidently. * Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and risk assessments. * A positive and engaging teaching style. * A desire to inspire students and celebrate creative thinking.
