In this crucial full-time role, with a significant focus on Key Stage 5 (A-Level Design & Technology/Product Design), you will:
* Maximise Student Achievement: Be instrumental in ensuring excellent student outcomes in Key Stage 3, GCSE, and particularly A-Level DT, equipping them with the sophisticated design, analytical, technical, and evaluative skills required for top university placements.
* Lead Advanced Projects: Design and oversee challenging practical and theoretical projects, ensuring students develop robust design methodologies and meet the rigorous demands of A-Level coursework and examinations.
* Deliver Engaging and Rigorous Curriculum: Utilise your expertise to deliver meticulously structured and challenging lessons that align with the demands of the A-Level DT curriculum, fostering deep understanding of complex design issues, materials science, and advanced manufacturing.
* Motivate and Support High Achievers: Work with highly academic students, including many aiming for prestigious universities, providing the necessary extension and support to enable them to excel in all aspects of the subject.
* Collaborate within a Strong Department: Join a supportive and experienced team that shares best practices and works collaboratively to achieve departmental goals, including the successful delivery of a high-quality A-Level DT programme that challenges and excites students.
