Job Description
A well-respected and inclusive school in Gloucester is seeking a dynamic and committed Design Technology Teacher for a full-time, permanent position starting in September 2025. The Design Technology Teacher will join a vibrant department offering a full range of DT specialisms, including resistant materials, graphics, systems & control, and product design. The school is equipped with industry-standard technology and encourages cross-curricular collaboration.
As a Design Technology Teacher, you will:

Deliver a broad and engaging DT curriculum to students across KS3 and KS4

Focus on practical skills, problem-solving, and creativity through hands-on projects

Encourage students to explore careers in engineering, architecture, and product design

Plan lessons with clear objectives and meaningful assessment opportunities

The successful Design Technology Teacher will:

Have QTS and a relevant DT-based degree
