Design Technology (Construction) Teacher – Cardiff Area
Outstanding School | Outskirts of Cardiff
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full Term (Autumn Term in the first instance)
Pay: £166.32 – £220 per day (dependent on experience)
Are you a passionate and skilled Design Technology teacher with a specialism in Construction? We’re working with a fantastic secondary school on the outskirts of Cardiff, rated Outstanding by Estyn, to recruit an enthusiastic DT teacher to join their team from September.
This is a full-time role for the Autumn Term initially, with the potential for extension.
About the Role:
* Teach Design Technology with a focus on Construction to KS3 and KS4
* Plan and deliver engaging, hands-on lessons that inspire creativity and practical skills
* Be part of a supportive, forward-thinking department with excellent resources
* Contribute to a positive learning environment where every student is encouraged to succeed
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Specialism or experience in teaching Construction within DT
* A creative, practical approach to teaching
* Excellent classroom management and behaviour support skills
* Commitment to high standards and student achievement
