You'll be delivering engaging and inclusive music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, nurturing students' musical talents and encouraging creative expression. The school offers a broad curriculum and actively supports extracurricular music activities, including choirs, bands, and concerts.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4
Plan and deliver inspiring lessons that develop musical skills and appreciation
Support and lead extracurricular music activities and school performances
Encourage creativity, collaboration, and confidence in students
Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
Maintain high standards of behaviour and academic progressWhat We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge in Music, including theory and performance
Experience teaching up to GCSE level
Ability to lead ensembles or music clubs is desirable
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
A passion for music education and student development
