Job Description:
As a Design & Technology Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that challenge and inspire students
Foster creativity, problem-solving, and practical skills in a hands-on learning environment
Guide students through exciting projects in Resistant Materials, Engineering, or Textiles
Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage learners of all abilities
Assess, monitor, and provide feedback to support student progress
Contribute to the wider school community and be an active part of a supportive team
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential!
Experience teaching Design & Technology at Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience is a bonus!)
A strong passion for your subject with the ability to bring lessons to life
Enhanced DBS (Don’t have one? No problem – we can process this on your behalf!)
EWC Registration – or willingness to obtain it
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
