Location: BL3
Job Title: DT Technician
Pay and working hours: 32.5 - Monday-Friday (half day Friday!)
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and set up materials, tools, and equipment for DT lessons and practical activities.
*
Maintain, clean, and store workshop machinery, hand tools, and specialist equipment safely.
*
Order, manage, and monitor stock of consumables and resources within budget.
*
Support teaching staff in delivering practical demonstrations and student projects.
*
Ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations and carry out regular risk assessments.
*
Assist students with safe use of equipment, providing guidance when needed.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience as a DT technician
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Passion for design technology and a commitment to student success.
* Updated CV and an enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
