Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a reliable and proactive DT Technician to join welcoming secondary schools in Greenwich and across South East London. This is a full-time, long-term role starting immediately-perfect for someone with practical skills looking to gain or expand experience within education.
What you'll be doing as a DT Technician:
Preparing and maintaining tools, equipment, and materials for practical lessons
Supporting classroom activities across areas such as woodwork, metalwork, electronics, and food technology
Ensuring safe working practices and maintaining a clean, organised workshop environment
Assisting teachers with projects and lesson preparation
Who we're looking for:
Individuals with a background in hands-on, practical environments (workshops, engineering, construction, design, etc.)
Previous school-based technician experience is beneficial, but not essential
Enthusiastic, reliable, and willing to learn new skills
Must hold (or be willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
