Design & Technology Technician - Bromley
Immediate Start | Full-Time, Long-Term | Competitive Weekly Pay via PAYE
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a proactive and reliable Design & Technology Technician to support a thriving secondary school in Bromley, with additional opportunities available across South East London. This is a full-time, long-term role starting immediately, offering excellent experience for candidates with a practical or technical background.
Your role as a DT Technician will include:
Preparing and maintaining tools, equipment, and resources for practical lessons
Assisting teaching staff with lesson setups and demonstrations
Supporting workshop activities across woodwork, metalwork, electronics, and food technology
Monitoring stock levels and ensuring safe working practices
Helping maintain a clean, organised, and compliant workshop environment
What we're looking for:
Practical or technical background (e.g. design, engineering, construction, or similar)
Previous school-based experience is desirable but not essential
A proactive, safety-conscious, and organised approach
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
