Job Title: Design Technology Technician.
Location: Normanton, Wakefield
Salary: £100- £110 a day dependent on experience
Leader Education is seeking a confident and adaptable Design Technology Technician to support in a secondary school in the Wakefield area. This is a vital role that ensures support in setting up classrooms prior to lessons starting and working alongside teaching staff so health and safety is ensured.
Your Role
As a Design Technology Technician, you’ll:
Work across multiple classrooms and Key Stages
Make sure classrooms are set up prior to lessons starting following the Health and Safety procedures of the school.
Ensure instructions from teaching staff are adhered to
Adapt quickly to different classroom settings and routines
Who We’re Looking For
Experience is needed in working in schools in a Design Technology department and have the below attributes:
Hold a degree or equivalent qualification
Have a genuine passion for working with young people
Possess strong behaviour management skills
