Purpose of the Role As the Registered Manager across two therapeutic children’s homes, you will lead with compassion, vision, and operational precision to deliver outstanding care for children with complex SEMH needs. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Growth · Lead and develop two Ofsted-registered therapeutic children’s homes, setting a gold standard in care. · Mentor Deputy Managers and emerging leaders to ensure talent pipelines for future growth. · Drive a culture of excellence, reflection, and high performance. Operational & Strategic Impact · Deliver outstanding Ofsted outcomes through robust quality assurance and compliance. · Manage budgets and resources with commercial acumen, maximising both quality and profitability. · Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to shape the future growth of the organisation. Child-Centred Excellence · Embed trauma-informed, attachment-aware care in daily practice. · Ensure personalised care planning and active participation for every child. · Champion children’s rights, voice, and empowerment at all levels. What We’re Looking For · Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a children’s residential setting. · Track record of achieving “Good” or “Outstanding” Ofsted ratings. · Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to achieve). · In-depth understanding of Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards. · Inspirational leadership style, able to drive performance and nurture teams.
