Job Title: Duct Fitter (2 Positions Available)
Location: SW6 2AN, London, UK
Duration: Immediate start, ongoing project
Working Hours: 9 hours per day
Pay Rate: £25 per hour
Job Overview:
We are seeking two experienced duct fitters to join our team for a project located in SW6 2AN. The primary responsibility will be the installation of sheet metal plenums and galvanized sheet steel (GSS) ductwork, connecting fan coil units (FCUs) to the plenums within residential plots.
Key Responsibilities:

Install sheet metal plenums and GSS ductwork from FCUs to plenums as per project specifications.
*
Interpret and work from mechanical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate installation.
*
Measure, cut, and assemble ductwork using appropriate tools and techniques.
*
Ensure all installations comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
*
Collaborate with other trades on-site to coordinate installation activities.
*
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a duct fitter, particularly with FCU to plenum installations.
*
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
*
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and ductwork installation practices.
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*
Valid CSCS card.
*
Own tools and PPE.
*
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
