Job Advertisement: Duct Mates in London Overview We are seeking skilled and reliable Duct Mates to join our team for a project in London. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in ductwork installation, including galvanised and fire-rated systems. The position is for a minimum of 3 months, with 8 hours of paid work per day. Candidates must hold the required certifications and demonstrate a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Assist in the installation of ductwork systems, including galvanised and fire-rated ducts.
Support the lead duct fitter in measuring, cutting, and assembling duct components.
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines.
Perform other related tasks as required by the project supervisor.Qualifications
Valid CSCS card.
IPAF certification.
Mates Card.
Proven experience in ductwork installation, particularly with galvanised and fire-rated systems.
Strong understanding of health and safety practices on construction sites.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality work.Day-to-Day
Report to the site supervisor at the start of each shift.
Assist in the preparation and installation of ductwork materials.
Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
Address any challenges or issues promptly and professionally.
Adhere to all site safety protocols and guidelines.Benefits
