Job Description

We are working in partnership with a leading global retailer with an extensive presence across Europe. Our client is currently seeking a highly capable and Dutch-speaking Human Resources Advisor to join their People Services team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering first-class HR and payroll support across the Dutch and UK markets.  This is a full-time hybrid role based in North-West London. Key responsibilities: •    Acting as the first line of HR support for Dutch and UK colleagues via phone, email, and face-to-face. •    Logging and managing cases through the HR case management system. •    Processing HR and payroll-related transactions with accuracy and compliance. •    Advising on policies, procedures, and legislation, including sickness absence and general HR matters. •    Preparing and issuing contracts, letters, and employment documentation. •    Supporting payroll processes and resolving pay-related queries. •    Assisting with training and onboarding of new HR team members. •    Identifying opportunities for process improvement and contributing to system and service enhancements. •    Supporting testing of HR system updates and integrations when required. About You: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Dutch Speaking HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys problem-solving. You will bring excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and a passion for delivering a great employee experience. Key requirements: •    Fluency in Dutch and English (written and verbal) – essential. •    HR education/qualification is desirable. •    Solid understanding of HR processes, ideally gained in a shared services or service centre environment. •    Strong knowledge of HR case handling and compliance with legislation. •    Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure. •    Strong judgement in assessing complex queries and knowing when to escalate.
